The jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial on Wednesday told the judge for a second time that it cannot agree on a verdict in the controversial case of the mother accused of murdering her three children.

Clancy stared at the jury with no expression as Judge William Sullivan explained to the courtroom that jurors were at an impasse on their fifth day of deliberations. “After much deliberation we are still unable to come to a unanimous decision,” he read from a note written by the jurors.
