Thank you for joining us for the clockwatch with some great goals on display. Bournemouth miss out on all three points by conceding a late equalsier against Everton and Hull City continue their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 win over Conventry. Coventry and Hull are both newly promoted sides but they are having a very different start to the season. Hull have conceded no goals and scored three, Coventry have concided four goals and scored none.

Hull City are second in the Premier League after they compound their opening win of the season with a late winner from Millar. Coventry will be frustrated and they may come to rue this result come the end of the season.
Coventry 0-1 Hull City, 90 + 4 min : Can Coventry copy Everton and find an equaliser? Well their fans don’t think so as hundreds head for the exit before full-time.
The Alex Scott first half goal looked like it was going to be enough for Bournemouth with another of their chances not converted but Everton snuck an equaliser in injury time. A thoroughly entertaining clash.
There are four minutes added in Bournemouth Everton and five added in Coventry Hull.
A corner ball isn’t dealt with cleanly and Tarkowski pounces to get the better of Petrovic. Crushing for Bournemouth.

Wow, Everton steal a point in injury time.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 90 min : Alcaraz will be frustrated as he crosses in an absolute peach of a ball but no teammate is there to head it in.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 89 min : The Toffees are still pushing for an equaliser with the Cherries holding on for now.
Coventry 0-1 Hull City, 85 min : I know it is early doors in the Premier League and Coventry could equalise or even win this game but as things stand Hull are second in the table. They are still among favourites to be relegated but what a start for the club after a decade out of the top-flight.
Coventry 0-1 Hull City, 83 min: Belloumi does so well in the build-up too in that goal. He was being pulled but his pass made it possible for Millar to be released. Great goal.
Millar has a second chance in front of goal and he wasn’t going to miss this time. A great finish and Hull City look like they are taking two wins from two at the start of this league season.
GOAL! Coventry 0-1 Hull City (Millar, 81)
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 81 min : Another fun fact for you, in both games involving these two clubs in the Championship this season it ended 0-0. New league, same result.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 81 min: Pickford has made a good save to stop Bournemouth from doublign their lead. It is Rayan who had a low shot that was palmed wide by the England international and Evanilson can’t put the rebound ball in the back of the net.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 76 min : The rain has stopped and the sun is now shining in Coventry and it doesn’t feel like a coincidence that has happened since Sakamoto has been on. He really had livened up Coventry but like his teammates, he is yet to be clinical in front of goal.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 74 min : Millar is in a great position and makes a good run. He gets in front of goal but pulls the shot wide.

Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 75 min : Beto had a chance but there was some great defensive work as the ball was kicked away just as he was lining up to shoot.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 71 min : Coventry have a corner but the opportunity is wasted. This game does have all the air of one that a team could steal the result at the death.
Surely the story of the day is Elversberg staving off a late Bayer Leverkusen comeback, an amazing debut for the town. The rest of the results here:
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 69 min : The attacking intensity in this fixture has dramatically dropped in this second half and the Toffees will need to create something tangible soon to get back into this one.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 65 min : Tzolakis is okay to continue, he has had great reflexes in this game so Hull will be happy.

Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 63 min: Coventry win a corner, can they find the opener? No they can’t. It was delivered to the near points but the keeper has it covered. Tzolakis seems to have collided with the post and he has grabbed his head, Hull is awarded a free kick. The keeper is getting some attention but I believe he will be okay to continue.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 58 min : Awoniyi is almost on the end of a cross but he can’t quite get there. Both clubs are having better chances in this second half, it’s breaking up.
Everton fans threatened to “riot” if the club cash in on teenage winger Harrison Armstrong. The England Under-19s international was reportedly the subject of a £40m offer from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest ahead of Saturday afternoon’s game away to Bournemouth.
The 19-year-old academy graduate started for the Toffees at the Vitality Stadium to make his 24th appearance for the club. Travelling supporters made their feelings clear on the situation, repeatedly chanting to the tune of Achy Breaky Heart: “Don’t sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, I just don’t think you understand. If you sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, you’re going to have a riot on your hands.” PA
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 55 min : Stroud gets a yellow card for a foul.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 54 min : Hull have a better spell of play with multiple passes but Belloumi loses out in the box, such a disappointment after such promising build-up play.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 54 min : Everton continue to toil to try and get back into this one on the scoreboard. On the balance of play they are very much competing well.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 51 min : Hull are growing here as Mendy takes a shot from 35 yards out and it’s another amazing bit of goalkeeping with Rushworth controlling.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 50 min : Well Everton should have equalised there. Armstrong passed to Barry in the area and it took yet another fantastic Petrovic save to keep them out. What a shift the keeper is putting in.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 47 min : The commentators have been quite harsh in their criticism of this match, saying both teams in the latter half of the first 45 looking like both sides are still Championship sides. Yes they need to be more clinical but it felt a bit harsh.
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton, 47 min : There are no changes for either side as the second half progresses.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 45 min : Hull are making two changes with Drameh on for Coyle and Gourna-Douath is on for Morita. Coventry have no changes.
Both Premier League games are back underway now . Can Bournemouth see out their win against Everton? And can someone break the deadlock between Coventry and Hull City? All to come.

Hi Sarah. After a difficult start to the season, including a derby defeat last week, Dundee United are 3-0 up at Kilmarnock at half time. Travelling United fans, including diehards Evie and Ryan, with something to cheer about at last, and an enjoyable journey home to look forward to. As has United manager Jim Goodwin, who misses the game after taking unwell on Thursday. Celtic and Hearts also have comfortable half time leads against Falkirk and St. Johnstone respectively.

Well Petrovic kept Everton at bay with some sensational saves with Scott doing his part by putting the hosts ahead. Everton have not been poor in this game, they just need to be clinical in front of goal. A lively second half to come.
Coventry had a lot of dominance in this first half but they just haven’t been able to take advantage, some boos as the half-time whistle goes.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 45 min : Thomas and Belloumi comes together with the Hull City man at fault there. Two minutes added.
Scott will get the plaudits for the finish but it is Evanilson who did all of the hard work in the build up. He chases a ball and picks out Scott who scores from close range.
GOAL! Bournemouth 1-0 Everton (Scott, 41)
It’s a brilliant finish from Alex Scott and Pickford’s wait for 100 clean sheets goes on.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 41 min : This ground is going to erupt if Coventry can get ahead. The atmosphere has lulled somewhat.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 39 min : Awoniyi doesn’t get much warning for a ball into the box and it hits his thigh but there’s a great save by Tzolakis. He puts it behind for a corner but it’s dealt with by Hull.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 37 min : Nothing really to report from Bournemouth in terms of goals but both sides are peppering the goalkeepers with chances. Just no breakthrough yet.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 35 min : Wait, my mistake. I got ahead of myself. Drameh was ready to come on but Coyle has managed to recover so he remains in the game.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 34 min : Coyle is receiving treatment now and it does look like he is going to come off. Drameh is coming on for him.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 33 min : A fun fact for you, this is the first time these two clubs have played one another in the Premier League. Of course they have played each other before but never in the top-flight.
On pitch Coyle has remained down after an awkward stretch.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 31 min : The deadlock remains at the Vitality with George the latest to pop a chance in but it’s from long range and it goes wide.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 29 min : There is an applause from the crowd in memory of Coventry fan Harry Chattaway who died suddenly at the age of 27.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 27 min : McBurnie wins a corner for Hull and it’s delivered well but no one can target it goalward, however they get another corner. It comes in again but it’s headed clear.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 25 min : Hull want a penalty but the referee is having absolutely none of it with Stroud making the most of a shove from Thomas, much to the jeers of the Coventry fans.

Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 23 min : Okay, this is definitely a match for those who love the work of a goalkeeper. Bournemouth’s Petrovic has made another absolutely cracking save. He initially spills George’s effort but manages to get to his feet to repel Barry’s effort from the rebound. Wow.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 20 min : Coventry continue to dominate possession but their execution is just not clinical in the final third at the moment.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 18 min : Both goalkeepers are making some great saves with the game starting to liven up. Rayan is the latest to take a punt but Pickford is there at the near post.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 16 min : It is proving really difficult for Hull City to make any impact at the moment, Stroud did have a chance but it was over the bar.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 14 min : It has been all Coventry so far with Hull not getting a foothold at all so far. The conditions are wet but the hosts seem unphased.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 12 min : Everton have come closest to breaking the deadlock with Branthwaite heading a corner goalward but Petrovic makes a cracking save to keep him out.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 11 min : Grimes will take the set piece and he pops it in but Coyle heads clear. The secondary play is also snuffed out.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 10 min : The referee’s mic pack needed readjusting so there was a bit of a break in play. They are now back underway and Coventry get a free kick on the edge of the box. Coyle gets a yellow card for a shirt pull on Mason-Clark.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 8 min : The atmosphere is not dying down, the crowd are in full voice. Awoniyi has been really positive early on and he gets another chance but he is offside.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 6 min : Thierno Barry took a knock and has been receiving treatment for several minutes. He is okay to continue.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 5 min : Awoniyi has a chance but it is deflected out for a corner. It’s taken by Grimes but Thomas and McBurnie miss it and it’s cleared.
Bournemouth 0-0 Everton, 4 min : The England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will look to becoming only the fifth English goalkeeper to keep 100 clean sheets in the Premier League today.
David James, David Seaman, Nigel Martyn and Joe Hart are the other English keepers to do so.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 3 min : It may be Hull who are the more confident today despite being away from home. They beat Manchester United last weekend, while Coventry lost to Arsenal.
Coventry 0-0 Hull City, 2 min : It is Coventry’s first Premier League home game in 25 years with their opening top-flight match was away to Arsenal last week. The atmosphere sounds electrifying.
The two newly promoted sides will go up against one another with action just getting underway.

Elversberg have had a great start to their opening Bundesliga game and their story is a good one as the smallest town to ever be promoted into the German top-flight. Carlo Cudicini was a very good goalkeeper. However, José Mourinho was ruthless when he became Chelsea manager in 2004. Very good was not good enough. Mourinho wanted the best and one of the main factors behind the Portuguese winning the Premier League during his first season in charge was the decision to replace Cudicini with Petr Cech.
There is an old line about a great goalkeeper being worth 15 points a season. It is not for nothing, for instance, that Brian Clough regarded Peter Shilton as one of his most important signings at Nottingham Forest. Shilton was key when Forest defied the odds by winning the Division One title in 1978 and there are plenty of other examples of promising teams taking the next step only after buying a top No 1.

The new loan signing has scored for the hosts . Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Latte Lath nets early on, he signed a temporary move from 2 August from Atalanta United.

Coventry, meanwhile, make three changes from their opening Premier League game against Arsenal. Ephron Mason-Clark, Jack Rudoni and Taiwo Awoniyi come in for Brandon Thomas-Asante, Frank Onyeka and Ellis Simms.
Everton make one change to their starting XI with Harry Hackney benched for James Garner. Both Harrison Armstrong and Iliman Ndiaye start despite being linked to moves to other clubs in the coming days.

Hello and welcome to today’s clockwatch where we will have a keen focus on the two Premier League 3pm BST kick-offs. Those are Bournemouth v Everton and Coventry v Hull.
